What Should You Look For and What Should You Avoid? Commuters, on the other hand, might want a light that combines the two functions by using multiple LEDs with different lens geometries to simultaneously produce both kinds of beams. Then pair it with a more focused spotlight on their helmet to throw as much light as possible in the direction they are looking.
